'The Dredge' is an ancient and forgotten faction stationed on a mostly oceanic planet rich in oil. The Dredge is a marine force placed there to protect the oil interests from enemies. There have been epic underwater battles and marines literally walked and fought on sea bed. Humans worked the rigs and factories, but drilled too far, awakening some kind of disgusting demon in the oil. Everyone fell to chaos. Now, thousands of years later, those ancient marines and workers are horribly mutated and affected by millennia under a chaotic sea. It's time for them to crawl from the rotten seas and spread to other worlds.
